The other week I spent some time looking through online shops, browsing through different sale items and picked out 6 items from ASOS and Forever 21. Below you can find my try on haul video or keep scrolling for details and pics.
Cheap Monday Black Sweatshirt
I featured this in my April Favourites post which is technically right because I filmed this video and did my shopping in April. This sweatshirt is super soft and cosy and ridiculously oversized which I love. The neck strap and cutout detail give this a nice contemporary feel which is a tad out from my usual style but it’s a definite hit.
Rust Pull and Bear Shirt
This shirt is one of my summery favourites because I am in love with the colour but it doesn’t just stop there. The fabric is super soft but also really light. It’s cropped to a great length and buttoning it all the way up is also super cute. I bought this at full price because I just needed it.
Checked Cropped Tank
I have been seeing checkerboard print absolutely everywhere recently, so I thought I’d get this cute cropped tank either to layer with other tops or to pair with high-waisted jeans. The quality and fit are pretty good and this is another item I got for full price.
Floral Ruffled Blouse
I wore this blouse the other day and I have to say I’m in love. At first I was a bit dubious about the elastic bottom and the deep v cut neck, but with a skirt I chose it feels and looks like dream. All the lace and ruffle details on the sleeve and around the neck make it super feminine. I also adore the elastic at the wrist which puffs out the sleeves a bit. Plus the fabric is light so this is another great summery top.
Faux Leather Shorts
Let me tell you about how much I love these shorts – the fit is a little loose on me but that’s perfectly fine for tucking in tops and avoiding the dreaded camel toe. The pockets (POCKETS!!!) are detailed with little metal pins which punk it up a bit. These shorts just scream attitude and they are my absolute favourite purchase of the entire mini haul.
Blue Velvet Skater Skirt
Now this is the item that I wasn’t so sure about. While I’ve had and worn a few skater skirts, I haven’t loved them as much as others. This skirt was particularly risky for me because the saturated blue and the velvet fabric make it quite hard to pair with items already in my wardrobe. I thought I’d give it a try anyway and to be fair it’s super cute on.
